I can’t say ‘I understand how you feel’ Larene, as I can’t even begin to understand how your life would have been.

I think that your message to accept and ‘embrace’ your past, rather than denying it is a powerful one. Where you’ve been is what makes you who you are. If you recognise and accept that then you can appreciate the true value of the person you are today.
